Role Overview: Part-Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Hampton, VA

We are actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a part-time position in Hampton, VA. This role presents an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals focused on delivering impactful psychiatric care within post-acute settings.

Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional psychiatric care in post-acute care environments
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient wellbeing and outcomes
  • Efficiently manage patient care using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Develop and sustain empathetic relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications and Skills Required

  • NP degree specializing in psychiatric mental health from an accredited institution
  • Current Virginia NP license along with valid DEA registration
  • Experienced and proficient in EMR systems
  • Show compassion, excellent analytical abilities, proactive motivation, and effective teamwork skills
